The painter Eric Isenburger was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1902. He and Jula Elenbogen married in 1927. They lived in Vienna, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm and Nice before emigrating to the United States in 1941. In all circumstances Eric Isenburger produced extraordinary works. This website, a project of the Eric and Jula Isenburger Society, makes available for viewing some of the works and serves as a basis and clearing house for information on the artist and his life with the additional hope of locating “lost” works in order to collect material for an eventual catalog raisonnĂ©.
